Lennar Atlanta Puts Family First – from the Ground Up

When Craig and April Hoffmann decided to build the perfect home for their young family, they were cautioned by friends and relatives not to add yet another element of stress to their lives. The couple had just welcomed their third daughter and Craig had recently started a new job.

They knew that selling the house they were in and building a new one would be a challenge, but instead of the difficult experience they were anticipating, they have found that the process of building their Lennar Atlanta dream home in Fieldstone Preserve in Cumming was “… a delight.”

“We took a very deliberate approach to the entire process,” explains Craig. “We studied a lot of different floor plans and options and spent quite a bit of time interviewing various builders in the greater Atlanta area. The Hoffmanns decided on Lennar Atlanta’s Magnolia model with an unfinished basement. The school district and the actual neighborhood where their new home is located were also major factors in the decision making process. “The amenities at Fieldstone Preserve are outstanding. We really appreciate the fact that there is a kid-friendly tennis program, the Tennis Academy, and a great pool. My wife and I look forward to sharing our love for tennis with our girls.”

Building their first home has been a happy, positive experience. “From before we broke ground to our weekly update calls from our personal builder(s), we have been continually amazed at the level of personal, professional and friendly interactions we have had with each member of our Lennar Team. Our property agents, Pat and Marty, and especially our builders, Chris and Rick, are engaged and passionate professionals and have delivered on every single detail they said from the beginning of our experience with Lennar Atlanta.”

Even though the closing on their beautiful new home will not be until the end of August, the family has made a real effort to participate in a number of neighborhood activities and events already during the past months. When the new school year started up recently, the Hoffmanns met more than 20 other Fieldstone Preserve families at the school bus stop to see their two oldest daughters off to the first day at their new school in Forsyth County.

“This will be our family’s home for at least the next 15 years,” expects Craig. “This is where we will sit down together for dinner every night, and share great times with new neighbors and friends.”

Unlike her original move to the South from Brooklyn (NY), where she was born, Cherise Tawfiq and her family did not have to move far when they decided to purchase their new townhome in the Deerfield Green neighborhood in Milton.

Lennar Atlanta Welcomes New Resident to Deerfield Green!

In just one short month, Steve Kish will be moving into his brand new townhome in the Deerfield Green community, conveniently located right off GA 400 and just three miles from his office at Red Book Connect, an IT company specializing in software programs for the restaurant business.

Lennar Atlanta Breaks for Lunch – 2,000 Lunches, To Be Exact

For the third consecutive year, almost all of Lennar Atlanta’s sales associates got together this week to prepare 2,000 lunches for children who otherwise might go hungry during the summer, when school is out.

Inspired by the Cobb Association of REALTORS® (CAR), whose members work together with MUST Ministries, 16 Atlanta-based Lennar Atlanta professionals, together with representatives of other participating companies, spent a full day preparing 2,000 sack lunches for distribution later this week to underserved children. Each lunch includes a sandwich, a drink, a fruit roll-up and other treats, and comes in a bag that is decorated by volunteers as well.

According to a recent article in the Marietta Daily Journal, “MUST Ministries is a faith-based organization that provides food, housing, employment services and clothing to men, women and children in poverty, with offices in Cobb and Cherokee counties.

This summer, MUST plans to serve 250,000 sack lunches to children in eight counties during the 10 weeks of summer.”

“We are delighted to be able to donate our time and resources to be part of this meaningful effort to feed kids who are going without their daily school lunches during the summer,” says Ginny Bryant, Director of Sales for Lennar Atlanta. “Every year, the Lennar Atlanta team has a great time, and we even though we go home smelling of mustard, we leave with big grins on our faces.”

“MUST Ministries’ slogan is: ‘hope is a must’ – and we want to be part of this important outreach program in our communities,” notes Bryant.
