Haney Walk Is Lennar Atlanta’s First Neighborhood in Cherokee County

Woodstock neighborhood

Located less than a mile from Georgia’s charming city of Woodstock, Lennar Atlanta is getting ready to start building Haney Walk, its first neighborhood of beautiful single family homes in Cherokee County. Three additional Lennar Atlanta neighborhoods are slated to break ground in Cherokee County within the foreseeable future. Cherokee County, “where metro meets the mountains,” is situated only 30 minutes from Atlanta.

Run, Don’t Walk to Haney Walk:

Haney Walk, opening in October 2014, will feature 97 well-crafted homes, priced from the mid-$300s to the mid-$400s. There will be a variety of elegant floor plans available to suit the many growing families that are looking to build in this planned community with superior amenities.

Haney Walk will include a pool, a cabana, and tennis courts that may be used year-round thanks to Georgia’s mild winters. Lennar Atlanta’s new home experts will be available at the Haney Walk Welcome Center to discuss the variety of lots, plans and financing options available to home buyers.

About Woodstock:

Woodstock, established more than 100 years ago, is one of Cherokee County’s oldest towns. When the railroad came to Woodstock in 1879, the city had a population of 300 and covered 960 acres. Today, Woodstock is the fastest growing city in Cherokee County with more than 24,000 residents, thanks also to the close proximity to major traffic arteries like I-575 and State Highway 92.

The entire area is very attractive to people who love the outdoors. Woodstock is close to the stunning 12,000 acre Lake Allatoona, with lots of opportunities for boating, swimming or fishing at its 13 public beaches and boat ramps. Haney Walk residents will enjoy the fact that there are a number of golf courses nearby their neighborhood, as well as four city parks and a variety of Cherokee County parks. The city is also in the process of developing a 60-mile network of multi-use trails and green space around Woodstock. For more information please check out www.greenprintsalliance.org

Part of the Community:

Lennar Atlanta has joined the Cherokee Association of Realtors® to underscore the company’s commitment to its involvement in rapidly growing Cherokee County, and to support the goals of this professional real estate organization.

“Wherever we build, we want to be part of, and give back to, the community,” notes Ginny Bryant, Lennar Atlanta’s Director of Sales and herself an active volunteer with a number of organizations.
