Many Reasons to Move to Danbury Farms Include Awesome Kitchen, Super School System
When Martin and Maria C. moved from Florida more than eleven years ago, they decided that north metro Atlanta offered the type of setting and lifestyle they wanted for their daughter, and the young family moved to Cherokee County. Then, in 2016, they started looking for a new home that would offer them more space, an open floorplan, a variety of upgrades and a different school system – but still in the same general area, north of the city.
The family had been looking for about six months when one day, driving home, Maria spotted a sign for Danbury Farms by Lennar Atlanta in Cumming, in Forsyth County’s award-winning school system.
“Two things jumped out when we visited Danbury Farms,” says Martin. “In the first place, the way our sales consultant, Shelley Call, treated us. We had been looking at a lot of different neighborhoods, and more often than not, the agent would drop a ‘surprise’ on us at the end of our visit. In contrast, Shelley was clear and told us everything we wanted to know right up front. She is a straight-shooter, and she listened to us and understood what we wanted in a new home.
“Secondly, we fell in love with this home, the Fraser plan. It was exactly what we had been looking for – and it was ready for immediate move-in,” says Martin. “We decided then and there that this was the house for us.”
Their Danbury Farms home has a generous open floorplan, five bedrooms and four baths. The two-story family room has a fireplace and built-in bookcases, and is perfect for entertaining year-round.
“What took us by surprise is to find how much we all just love our beautiful new kitchen,” smiles Martin. “It has everything we wanted – from energy efficient stainless steel appliances to this awesome, huge granite-topped island. We all like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. This awesome kitchen is a chef’s dream.”
Danbury Farms is located right off Drew Campground Road, (“a little more central for all three of us”) and features swim and tennis facilities as well as winding sidewalks. The top quality amenities are a real plus for the active family. The new home community is served by Sawnee Elementary, Liberty Middle and West Forsyth High School, and is also close to business centers, shopping and restaurants. The HOA includes yard maintenance.
“We look forward to the time when the whole neighborhood is finished. We enjoy getting to know our neighbors and have already made a number of new friends here, and our daughter is a popular babysitter for some of the growing families in Danbury Farms,” according to Martin.
“This was the right time, the right location and the right house for us. We love living at Danbury Farms.”
